Gregory A. Kompes (MFA, MS Ed.) has authored 14 books (gay fiction, poetry, gay nonfiction, and metaphysical nonfiction), contributed to over a dozen anthologies (including several Chicken Soup for the Soul anthologies), and written hundreds of published articles on a wide range of topics. Gregory teaches writing (and writing related courses) at Nevada State College and Southern New Hampshire University. As Artist in Residence, he teaches a popular fiction series (under a Nevada Humanities grant) for the James L. Gibson Library, Henderson, NV.
Gregory holds a BA in English Literature from Columbia University, New York, a Certificate in Online Teaching and Learning and an MS Ed. from California State University, East Bay, and an MFA in Creative Writing from National University.
